how it works

Overeno saves you time and allows you to receive sworn translation of your documents at home.

When you need a sworn translation of a document, instead of taking it personally to a sworn translator and picking it up at their location, you can now scan the document (or attach a copy of it if you already have it in electronic form, such as a PDF, Word, etc.) and send it to us. We will make sure you receive it by mail at the address you want and at the time you want.

Another major advantage is that you do not need to waste your time looking for relevant sworn translators who happen to be available at the moment – just select the source and the target language, number of copies, and the country in which the translation is to be used and we will take care of the rest.

IMPORTANT

Many times the public authorities of a country in which you are required to submit official or sworn translation of your documents will require that the translation is physically attached to the (authenticated copy of) the original. Sometimes, you will also need to put an Apostille on the original documents or on the authenticated copy of the original documents.

In this is the case, you need to:
  • make a photocopy of your original document (you may also want to use the original, but it will depend on the type of document in question - for sure, you should not use the original school diplomas, university degrees, and similar, but rather make a photocopy of such documents, authenticate the copies, and use the authenticated copies for translation),
  • have it authenticated against the original at the tribunal or before a public notary or lawyer (or whatever party is authorized by the government to perform authentication of documents),
  • if putting an Appostille on the originals (or authenticated copies) is required, go to the designated authorities (tribunal, etc.) and have the Apostille placed on your documents,
  • scan the authenticated copies (along with the Apostilles, if any),
  • attach the scanned documents using Overeno's services and follow the steps (choose language pair, country of use, number of copies, etc.),
  • wait to receive our quote by email in the form of a link (we will use the email you provided during the process),
  • follow the instructions and complete the payment,
  • send your documents (either originals or authenticated copies of the originals) to the address of one of our sworn translators that you will receive upon completing the payment,
  • once the documents have been translated by our sworn translator, they will send the translated documents to you at the address you specified and via the selected courier service (the one that you selected or the one available at the moment of your filling the order) and you will receive the tracking number of your order,
  • you have now received your sworn translation at home,
  • we may send you a follow up email with a link, asking you to provide us with your feedback or any comments you may have regarding your order or the quality of our service.

Our goal is to help you exercise your rights in another country with as little effort on your side as possible.
